CAUTION when ever changing combinations be sure to try the combination several times with the door open. If your handle will not turn to the lock position with the door open, reach around to the inside of the door (the hinge side) and push in on the bolt detent (the rod sticking out).


OPENING A STANDARD COMBINATION LOCK WITH A DIAL.

1.    Turn the dial to the LEFT, stopping when _ _ (insert your first number here) is aligned with the opening index the FORTH time.

2.    Turn the dial to the RIGHT, stopping when _ _ (insert your second number here) is aligned with the opening index the THIRD time.

3.    Turn the dial to the LEFT, stopping when _ _ (insert your third number here) is aligned with the opening index the SECOND time.

4.    Turn the dial slowly to the RIGHT, until the dial stops (at approximately 86) and the bolt is retracted.


TO LOCK SAFE:

1:    Close the door and turn the handle to the locked position.

2.    Turn the dial to the LEFT at least four revolutions.
